In Huron County, there are different types of child care options to meet the needs of parents, families, and children. No one type of child care is right for everyone. You will find full and part-time child care in centers or approved homes available throughout the County. Making a decision about child care can be one of the most difficult decisions a parent can make. Are you only interested in child care centers or do you prefer an approved home child care setting? Is a licensed setting important to you? What are the differences? Does your child have special needs? Do you need financial help to cover your child care costs? Huron County Children’s Services has trained staff available to help parents and care-givers in making these decisions.
