Welcome to OneList Grey County.

OneList Grey County is an online child care application system that simplifies the process of finding and applying for child care.



Getting Started

To complete your application, you must first create an account.

Once your account has been activated, you will need to provide information about you and your family on the application form. The information you provide will be used to suggest child care options. You may place your child?s name on as many lists as you choose. A Summary of your childcare applications received by the the childcare providers will be displayed as the last step of the application process. The child care provider will contact you when a space becomes available.


Finding Quality Programs

Licensed child care programs must meet and maintain specific provincial standards, set out in the Child Care & Early Years Act. These standards provide for the health, safety and developmental needs of children. For more information about Child Care, visit the Ministry of Education website.


Child Care Choices

Parents can choose from several Child Care choices.


Child Care Programs (Licensed)

Licensed Child Care Programs offer care for infants, toddlers, pre-school and school-aged children. They include full-day care, before- and after-school programs, and school holiday care (ex, PD days, March Break, Summer, etc). Licensed Child Care Programs are licensed by the Ministry of Education and can operate in a variety of locations including private buildings, community centres, and schools. Licensed Child Care Programs staff members include professionals with training in early childhood education. Programs and activities are designed for children at different stages of development and ages.


Nursery School (Licensed)

Licensed Nursery School provide part-time preschool programs for children ages 18 months to 5 years. Nursery School Programs are licensed by the Ministry of Education and can operate in a variety of locations. Programs staff members include professionals with training in early childhood education.


Grey County Home Child Care Program (Licensed)

The Ministry of Education licenses the Grey County Home Child Care Program who contracts and supports local individuals who offer child care out of their own home. These providers may offer care for infants, toddlers, pre-school and school-aged children. They include full-day care, extended hours care including overnight care, and before- and after-school programs.

As there are many licensed home-based child care providers in the County of Grey, the application does not list individual programs. If you are interested in licensed home child care, please select your preference and a member of the Grey County Home Child Care team will be in touch with you. Please note at this time the Grey County Home Child Care Program is only available to individuals who require child care fee subsidy.

High Five Summer Program

A variety of subsidized programs are available for children ages 6 to 12 during the summer. Please visit the Grey County website for additional information.

Information contained in this application will be shared with all child care agencies selected by the applicant, for the purposes of placing your child in an available space. If your child has attended a child care centre in the past, information regarding outstanding child care fees may be shared between child care operators before your child is placed again. Information collected on this application form is subject to the provisions of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA).
