Child Care Programs (Licensed)
Licensed Child Care Programs offer care for infants, toddlers, pre-school and school-aged children. They include full-day care, before- and after-school programs, and school holiday care (ex, PD days, March Break, Summer, etc). Licensed Child Care Programs are licensed by the Ministry of Education and can operate in a variety of locations including private buildings, community centres, and schools. Licensed Child Care Programs staff members include professionals with training in early childhood education. Programs and activities are designed for children at different stages of development and ages.
Nursery School (Licensed)
Licensed Nursery School provide part-time preschool programs for children ages 18 months to 5 years. Nursery School Programs are licensed by the Ministry of Education and can operate in a variety of locations. Programs staff members include professionals with training in early childhood education.
Bruce County Home Child Care Program (Licensed)
The Ministry of Education licenses the Bruce County Home Child Care Program who contracts and supports local individuals who offer child care out of their own home. These providers may offer care for infants, toddlers, pre-school and school-aged children. They include full-day care, extended hours care including over- night care, and before- and after-school programs.
As there are many licensed home-based child care providers in the County of Bruce, the application does not list individual programs. If you are interested in licensed home child care, please select your preference and a member of the Bruce County Home Child Care team will be in touch with you. Please note at this time the Bruce County Home Child Care Program is only available to individuals who require child care fee subsidy.

High Five Summer Program
A variety of different programs for children ages 4 to 12 are offered over the summer. Programs staff are trained and qualified. Fee subsidy availability and eligibility for these programs may vary. Please visit the Bruce County website for additional information.
